Reorder PDF pages
Change the order of the pages in a PDF. Type the order you want, or reverse the whole document with one button.

How to rearrange PDF pages
- Tap Choose a PDF. The box fills with the current order: 1, 2, 3 and so on.
- Edit the list into the order you want. Use a hyphen for a run of pages, such as 5-9.
- Press Save in this order, then Save PDF.
Common rearrangements

A range can run backwards. Typing 10-1 is the same as pressing Reverse the order.
Fixing a stack scanned in the wrong order
A sheet-fed scanner that takes paper face up often produces the document back to front. One press of Reverse the order fixes it.
Double-sided originals scanned in two passes are a harder case: the first pass gives the fronts (1, 3, 5, 7) and the second gives the backs in reverse (8, 6, 4, 2). If both passes are in one 8 page file, the right order is 1, 8, 2, 7, 3, 6, 4, 5. For two separate files, reverse the second, then use merge PDF and reorder the result.
Leaving pages out, or repeating them
The saved file contains exactly what is in your list. Delete a number and that page is left out. Type a number twice and the page appears twice, which is handy for a divider or a form that has to be filled in several times. The summary tells you if any pages of the original are missing from the result, so a slip of the finger does not go unnoticed.
What stays the same
Pages are moved, not redrawn. Text stays selectable, pictures keep their quality and each page keeps its size and direction. Because the pages are copied into a fresh file, bookmarks are not carried across, and page numbers printed on the pages will no longer run in sequence.
To put fresh numbers on the pages afterwards, use add page numbers to PDF.
Questions
How do I move one page in a PDF?
Cut its number out of the list and put it where it should be. For example, 1, 3-10, 2 moves page 2 to the end of a 10 page file.
How do I reverse the page order of a PDF?
Press Reverse the order, then Save in this order.
Can I drag pages instead of typing?
Not on this page. The order is typed, which is quicker than dragging for long documents and works the same on a phone.
What happens to pages I leave out of the list?
They are not included in the saved file. The result screen tells you how many were left out.
Will the printed page numbers update?
No. They are part of each page's content. Add new ones with the page number tool if you need them.
