The date is usually different
For most of the Indian day, the West Coast of the United States is still on the day before. Until 1:30 PM in India during the US winter, and until 12:30 PM during the US summer, the Pacific date is yesterday's.
That catches people out with deadlines. “End of day Friday” in California is 6:30 AM on Saturday in India during the US winter. When you write a time for someone in the other country, give the date as well.
